When ShootProof is the better choice
- It exists today. Pixally launches on January 1, 2027.
- Commission-free print and product sales. Pixally sells prints and albums too, shipped only to the US and Canada.
- It costs far less: from $8.33 a month billed yearly, with contracts and invoices included.
- Every paid plan has every feature, and the plans differ only in storage, so you never upgrade for a tool.
- Its Premium plan pairs unlimited photos with 150 GB of video for $50 a month billed yearly.
When Pixally is the better choice
Pixally is the better choice if you deliver a lot of film, run second shooters and editors, or want your bookings, contracts, payments, edit and delivery in one system.
Film delivery without a ceiling
ShootProof's video shares storage with photos on its lower plans and is capped at 50 GB or 150 GB on the higher ones. Pixally puts no limit on film length, plays films with chapters so a couple can jump to the ceremony or the first dance, and sells delivery in packs (50 GB for $50, 100 GB for $95, 500 GB for $450) that never expire.
The CRM and the delivery in one place
ShootProof covers contracts and invoices, with booking as an add-on. In Pixally the same project carries the inquiry, proposal, contract, payments, the edit through post-production (Pro and Studio), and the delivered gallery.
Second shooters and contractors
Second shooters get a free contractor account that works across every studio they shoot for, with their availability, travel fee and tax form in one place. Second shooter management and the contractor portal are on Pro (up to 10) and Studio (unlimited).
Switching to Pixally
Pixally will move your last 12 months of active client projects across for free, and turn your existing documents into Pixally templates. Winter, when the season is quiet, is the easiest time to switch.
